Rev 6:1-2
Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. (Bold emphesis mine)
Islam teaches that in A.D. 621 Mohammed laid down at dusk and curled up in a plush carpet at his cousin’s house, only to be abruptly awakened by the archangel Gabriel, who invited him to come outside. As he stepped out, he was introduced to a huge white horse with giant wings like an eagle. Gabriel told him that the horse had once belonged to Abraham, and that his name was El Barack meaning “White horse” and “Thunder”. They also teach that Allah told Mohammed that in the end of day, when the “day of recompense” arrives, the flying white horse will return for the resurrected Mohammed to mount and ride again. He will go forth to conquer the world for Islam.
As the first seal has been opened the world now greets this white horse waiting for the peace they believe he is here to bring. Sadly enough, as Christians we know that this peace is a false peace that last only a very short time. It will be followed by wars and violence, such as the world has never seen. I pray many of you will see the truth of who Obama really is. When Rev 6 uses the word “given”, it literally means, one elected. I pray you will not get sucked into this false peace and fear that they come to bring to lead us into the One World Order (otherwise known as) Daniels 4th Kingdom. Keep your eyes on our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Though they may take all we have, even our very lives, let us stand firm until the end. Let us give all our devotion t0 the true King, Jesus! Left your heads up dear saints, our Redemption is drawing nigh! (Tick Tock Tick Tock)
Actaully, the name Barack means “blessed”.
As an ancient linguist, I can tell you honestly that the name has nothing to do with either thunder nor White horse.
Even when it is used in the Old Testament, it means neither of those things.

Mimi,
Thanks for stopping by! You are exactly right about Barack meaning blessed. It’s meaning in Hebrew is lighting. This article was not about the orginal meaning of his name, but what Mohammed’s white horse was named and what meaning Islam gave it. His name has everthing to do with that white horse in Islam. As for the actual meaning of his name, “blessed” would be the actual meaning they would hold so dear, for that is what they say when metioning the one they follow.
