Gaza Forsaken?

So, I know this may be a hard pill for some to swallow and many others may not even really understand, but there is a very real reason why siding with Gaza (Hamas) on these attacks and not Israel is going to be very dangerous for the Nations.

We first need to understand that Jesus passionately loves all peoples and is grieved over the loss of innocent life on both sides of the present conflict, but the Scriptures are amendment that when He comes back, because of the violence and hatred, the region of Gaza will be devastated. I was reading today where the prophet Zephaniah, in specifically speaking of the Day of the Lord, warns the inhabitants of Gaza to repent; “Seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will be hidden In the day of the LORD’S anger.” Then comes a very stark description of what lies ahead for Gaza when Jesus returns:

For Gaza will be abandoned. … Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines; and I will destroy you so that there will be no inhabitant. So the seacoast will be pastures, with caves for shepherds and folds for flocks. And the coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah, they will pasture on it. In the houses of Ashkelon they will lie down at evening; For the LORD their God will care for them and restore their fortune. (Zephaniah 2:4-7)

The promised outcome will not bode well……….“Because you have had an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity … therefore, as I live,” says the Lord GOD, “I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you; since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you. (Ezekiel 35:5-7) (emphasis mine)

Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all surrounding peoples, when they lay seize against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in peices, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. (Zechariah 12:2-3)

Sadly, if America continues on a path of standing against Israel and not defending her, the outcome for our nation will be like the others and it will not end well.

Listen to what the LORD says will happen to these nations:

This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. 15 A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps. (Zech 14:12-15)

All of these plagues are the very end result of nuclear warfare. The very things our nations may use to try and attack Israel may be the very thing the LORD allows to destroy many of us.
